Women Who Run with Wolves

These pieces stand at the intersection of silversmiths and sculpture, resulting from the mixture of different metals, semi precious stones, melted glass, found objects, and ideas related to Carl Jung's school of analytically psychology, in particular his concept of Anima and Animus, the two primary anthropomorphic archetypes of the unconscious mind. The Anima and Animus are described by Jung as elements of his theory of the collective unconscious, a domain of the unconscious that transcends the personal psyche. In the unconscious of the male, this archetype finds expression as a feminine inner personality: Anima; equivalently, in the unconscious of the female it is expressed as a masculine inner personality: Animus.  RLR   /  DEL FUEGO, LA ANTORCHA Y LOS ARQUETIPOS.
